This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with small electronic devices and is keen to develop their skills in a technical environment. There's plenty of scope for progression for the right person.
What you'll be doing:
* Repairing and servicing electronic equipment such as barcode scanners, POS systems, monitors, computers, and payment devices
* Managing spare parts and updating records in our IT system
* Testing repaired units to ensure they meet strict quality standards
* Working closely with logistics and production support teams
What we're looking for:
* Basic understanding of electronics and computer hardware
* Familiarity with IT systems and basic computer skills
* Advantageous: formal education in electronics or experience in repairs/maintenance
Personal Attributes:
* Skilled with small hand tools and soldering equipment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Comfortable dismantling and reassembling computers, mobiles, or similar devices
