We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 7 to join our dynamic Resuscitation team based in Aberdeen. It is essential that you have substantial experience in an acute healthcare setting.
Applicants will be considered for a trainee position under Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change terms & conditions if they don’t meet the requirement of PG diploma or ILS instructor – they must already meet one or the other of these requirements for their application to be considered.
* For those still required to meet their PG diploma this will take approximately 2 years and pay will be awarded at 70% of a band 7 pay band maximum £59,159 until completion of year one then 75% of a band 7 pay band maximum £59,159 until completion of year two.
* For those still required to meet their ILS instructor status this will take approximately 1 year and pay will be awarded at 75% of a band 7 pay band maximum £59,159 until completion.

The successful candidate will be involved in delivering resuscitation training throughout NHS Grampian. You will be expected to support and participate in audit of cardiac arrest calls; attend clinical emergencies in a supportive and at times lead role; have good communications skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and strive to expand upon good resuscitation practice using research and evidence based practice.
The post is offered as a full time post but part-time hours may be considered.
This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.
The hours of this post are worked Monday to Friday.
