Role: Safety Engineer Contract Length: Until 30/06/26 Location: Bristol IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate Security Clearance: SC requested Spinwell is recruiting for a Safety Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SAFETY ENGINEER Incident / Accident Investigation and Reporting Management of Industry and Fd Army raised issues / occurrences, including MySafety/DRACAS/JAMES Hazard working / review groups Carry out trend analysis of such events Safety case management and reporting Review against safety design target and Contractor Design Risk Assessments Authorship / peer review of technical (risk) reports Integrate into Hazard Log. Attend and prepare for associated review groups General support Provide evidence for Safety Case Report development Generate Safety Assessments. Carry out peer reviews of documents and challenge where appropriate Monitor mitigation plans – eg Modifications, Change Requests, Safety Notices, Limitations of Use Support stakeholders in a timely manner by answering queries raised regarding occurrences Ensure BowTies accurately reflect the event impacts SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SAFETY ENGINEER Demonstrable Engineering experience with Armoured Platforms (Land Environment) eCassandra / BowTieXP Practitioner Systems Safety and Risk Management knowledge Able to provide informed and accurate acquisition safety engineering advice and guidance, across the various Environment and Technical Themes If you are a Safety Engineer, apply now or send your CV to Spinwell!
