Retail Store Assistant (with Keyholder Responsibility)
£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Hours: Part-time - 15 hours per week
Location: Sheffield, Ecclesall Road Shop

Role Overview: We’re seeking a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team. You’ll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK and take responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing shop operations, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided) and supporting a diverse team of volunteers.
* Assisting in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
* Reviewing and processing donated goods and stock.
* Generating new income ideas with guidance from the Shop Manager.
* Providing excellent customer service to ensure supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
* Maintaining shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
Candidate Requirements:
* Good knowledge of excellent customer service.
* Experience in lively, vibrant environments.
* Adaptability and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commercial awareness.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, balancing work needs with personal life.
