We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team on a supply basis, providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs. We are particularly interested in SEND Teaching Assistant's with experience supporting pupils with: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH) Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Challenging Behaviours ADHD, ADD, or associated behavioural needs The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will: Have experience working within SEND or alternative provision settings Be confident supporting across a range of Key Stages Be resilient, not timid and un-phased by children disregulating Demonstrate strong behaviour management strategies Bring a calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families At TeacherActive, we’re committed to supporting our staff every step of the way.
