We are seeking a People Business Partner for a six-month fixed-term contract, working part-time for three to four days a week.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor by providing professional People guidance and support to designated Business Units, with the objective of supporting business goals and embedding the People strategy. You will deliver a commercially focused People service to your Business Units and, with guidance from the Head of People UK, identify people priorities from business plans, translating these into effective People practices.
You will partner with business leaders and managers to implement people solutions, supporting the business through change which may include consultations, restructuring, outsourcing, TUPE, and ensuring smooth transitions while minimising disruption. Regular engagement with managers is essential, providing coaching to cultivate a positive work environment and an engaged workforce. You will also guide managers to be accountable for driving a performance culture, recognising excellence, and addressing issues quickly and proactively.
Your expertise will be required for providing advice and guidance on people matters, including involvement when employee relations issues are escalated from the People Operations team. You will work closely with the Centres of Excellence in the People team to implement strategies for talent management, recruitment, management development, reward, engagement, and retention. Supporting the business in assessing new hires’ competency, agreeing compensation, and reviewing restrictive covenants will also form part of your remit.
A comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of legal requirements related to employee management is essential. If you are solutions-focused, collaborative, and ready to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
We offer an amazing benefits package as well as competitive salary.
