The Opportunity
As a Technical Specialist, you’ll be the technical authority across key projects—leading from the front, ensuring excellence in delivery, and driving innovation across the team.
* Lead high‑value technical projects and ensure delivery on time, budget, and quality
* Take ownership of technical governance and engineering standards

* Provide mentorship and coaching, developing the next generation of engineers
* Roll up your sleeves with hands‑on problem solving and system optimisation
What You’ll Bring
Essential
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* 10+ years’ experience in mechanical and manufacturing engineering
* Strong background in electro‑mechanical system design and testing
* Expertise in automation, machines, and system integrationProven track record leading large or multiple complex projects
* Advanced knowledge of engineering standards (BS8888, GD&T, etc.)
* A hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset and ability to deliver end‑to‑end projects
Desirable
* Automation safety standards (ISO 12100, ISO 13849, etc.)
* Industry 4.0 / 5.0 awareness
* PLC or programming experience (C++, Python, IEC 61131)
* Hydraulics, pneumatics, or vision system knowledge
