Mazco Recruitment is proud to be working with a well‑established engineering company based in Birmingham, specialising in the manufacture of high‑quality gearboxes and hydraulic components. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled team.
Role
As a CNC Miller you will be responsible for setting, operating and programming XYZ milling machines using ProtoTRAK controls. You will work on precision components, including gear cutting and gearbox‑related parts, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
* Set, operate and programme XYZ CNC milling machines using ProtoTRAK
* Manufacture components for gearboxes, gear cutting and hydraulic systems
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Ensure all work meets tight tolerances and quality standards
* Carry out basic inspection using measuring equipment
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller
* Strong knowledge of XYZ machines and ProtoTRAK programming
* Experience working with gearbox components, gears or hydraulics (highly desirable)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Good attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
