We are working with a large Secondary School in the Denton area who have an immediate requirement for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health), the pupil has challenging behaviour and therefore it is essential that you have experience. You will assist the pupil throughout the school day to various lessons. It is essential that you have a good understanding of the national curriculum and are IT literate as you will be required to complete paperwork and reports for this specific pupil.
* Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
* Have previous experience working with pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
* Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
* Have at least 6 months school based experience of working in a UK Secondary school setting.
* Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
* Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
