About The Role
This role is predominantly new business requiring door-to-door direct sales and upselling to existing customers in the Blackburn area, with elements of account management following contract signing. After the initial bespoke training program, you will be required to hit quarterly targets based on the annualized revenue from contracts signed.
* Door-to-door canvassing; business-to-business, presenting the business professionally, selling features and benefits of services
* Upsell waste and recycling solutions to existing customers
* Complete client site risk assessments and site audits
* Handle all inbound enquiries assigned to you
* Pre-qualify opportunities to ensure they meet ‘business fit’ and pass credit checks
* Monitor and report on market and competitor activities
* Ensure CRM is updated daily with prospect information
* Participate in regional networking events to showcase services
* Complete weekly KPI sheets
* Attend and participate in sales meetings
* Book appointments with key management personnel to present company propositions
* Cross-sell additional services such as shredding, hazardous waste, and national solutions
* Manage diary and prioritize planning
* Respond to helpdesk queries within 24 hours
* Assist with the implementation of new services
* Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by your Line Manager
About You
* Successful experience in selling service contracts
* Telemarketing and appointment booking skills
* Door-to-door canvassing experience
* Full UK driving license
* Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
