Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading heavy engineering business in Scunthorpe to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical maintenance professional to step into a senior leadership role within a demanding, fast-paced industrial environment. Youll take ownership of the electrical maintenance function, driving reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.
The Role
* Leading, developing and managing the sites Electrical Maintenance team
* Planning and allocating work to ensure maximum efficiency and resource utilisation
* Overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance activities
* Ensuring high standards of electrical fault-finding, diagnostics and repair
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting site projects and installations
* Promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with risk assessments, permits and isolation procedures
* Managing performance, KPIs and maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability
The Person
We are keen to speak with experienced electrical maintenance professionals who have:
* A strong background as a time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer within heavy industry
* Proven leadership or management experience within a maintenance environment
* Experience in heavy manufacturing, ideally working with TPM or reliability-focused methodologies
* Strong knowledge of safe systems of work, including permits, isolations and risk assessments
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for driving performance and continuous improvement
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead from the front
