This is a highly unique and influential role, supporting the entirety of the business operation from a hands-on and strategic perspective. The role will involve liaising directly with the Facilities Director to ensure best practice, personal safety and physical security of sites. The client is based in Co. Down and operates within an interesting and constantly evolving sector. The role of Security Manager will involve constantly evaluating risk, developing corporate security SOPs and supporting the board of Directors with AdHoc travel arrangements. This role will manage physical technology, designed to protect the businesses site and the successful candidate will have demonstrable network/technical communications experience to fulfil this role. The Security Manager will keep abreast of any changes to the geopolitical landscape to ensure security procedures are appropriate and up to date. As this is a management role, you will lead a team of security personnel and ensure everyone is adequately equipped to carry out their role. The right person for this role will be an experienced security professional with a background within corporate/private security. Experience gained within a high-risk environment in terms of military/law enforcement would also be advantageous. The successful candidate will have experience of managing teams, with a minimum of 2-3 years within a leadership role.
