Role overview- this a key role in supporting the organisation to remain financially sustainable and maintain excellent financial governance and management.
Purpose of role
# Be responsible for finance systems and procedures. Ensure they are effective, efficient and meet best practice requirements.
# Ensure we are fully compliant with statutory requirements and strong governance and financial control embedded throughout the organisation.
# Responsible for managing the organisation's strategic and operational risk relating to Finance
# Attend SLT meetings
# Work with SLT to develop a medium and long term financial strategy that supports the organisation's strategic plan
# Provide timely information to budget holders through regular meetings
# Preparation of Annual Report and Accounts
# Prepare annual budget
