Production Team Leader
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm Monday - Thursday 11am Finish on a Friday!
Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

My client is a well-established manufacturing company known for producing high-quality products for a range of industries. With a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and teamwork, they’re looking for an experienced Production Team Leader to join their growing operation.
The Role
As the Production Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll manage a small team of operatives, motivate them to perform at their best, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate a team of production operatives on shift.
* Ensure all production schedules and targets are achieved.
* Monitor quality standards and address any non-conformance issues.
* Train, develop, and motivate team members to achieve high performance.
* Conduct shift handovers, maintain accurate records, and report on KPIs.
* Oversee health & safety compliance, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
* Support the Production Manager with day-to-day operations and problem-solving.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
* Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
* Ability to manage and motivate a team under pressure.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* IT literate and confident with reporting systems (Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
