Job Description
Finance Assistant responsibilities:
8. Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports
9. Process invoices, payments, and monitor accounts payable and receivable
10. Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
11. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
12. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations
13. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for the finance department
14. Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
15. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
16. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
17. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
18. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
19. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
20. A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines
21. A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is desirable
