We currently have a 28-hour Band 3 vacancy within Borders Sexual Health services.
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team.
The post holder will work from our main base within Galashiels Health Centre and across other NHS Borders sites where peripheral clinics are held. Responsibilities include managing reception duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting and checking in patients, and preparing clinical letters and referrals. The role also involves assisting nursing and medical staff during procedures, supporting patient confidentiality, cleaning clinical rooms and equipment, and managing stock supplies.
We are a small, supportive team offering fortnightly educational sessions.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a personal vehicle, as daily travel is essential. An interest in sexual health and contraception, along with respect for patient confidentiality, is crucial.
