Business Development ManagerLocation: (Coalisland)Salary: £75,000 + 1% Commission on New BusinessBenefits: Company Car & PhoneWorking Hours: Mon - Thurs - 8am - 5pm Fri - 8am - 2pmThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing and ambitious manufacturing business in a senior leadership capacity.Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will drive revenue growth through the development and execution of the company's sales strategy, while leading the Sales & Marketing team and expanding into new markets.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual with strong technical awareness and a background in engineering or manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a clear business development and sales strategy aligned with growth objectivesLead, coach, and manage the Sales Team to deliver on targets and drive continuous improvementIdentify and secure new business opportunities across targeted sectors and geographic marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers and OEM clientsManage the full sales lifecycle from enquiry through to order placementWork closely with internal technical and production teams to deliver tailored solutionsOversee marketing activities, including branding, communications, and industry eventsPrepare and present professional proposals and presentations to clientsEnsure all sales activity is commercially viable and within agreed budgetsContribute to overall company strategy as part of the senior leadership teamAbout YouProven experience in a senior business development or sales leadership role within manufacturing or engineeringDemonstrated track record of delivering sustained revenue growthExperience working with OEM customers and complex engineered productsStrong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer needs and profitabilityExceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skillsProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teamsSelf-motivated and results-driven with a strategic mindsetQualifications & ExperienceDegree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong understanding of engineering principlesExperience within quarrying, agricultural, or waste machinery sectors (advantageous)Experience developing international marketsProven success delivering both individual and team targetsExperience creating and executing sales strategies within engineering/manufacturingAbility to work cross-functionally with technical, production, and finance teamsWillingness to travel as requiredFull, clean driving licenceProficient in standard business IT systemsWhat's on Offer£75,000 base salary1% commission on all new business securedCompany car and phoneSenior leadership role with real influence on business growthSupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for professional and personal developmentSkills:engineering manufacturing business development manager salesWHJS1_NI
