An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Royal London Hospital for a dynamic, innovative, and highly motivated Theatre Practitioner to join our team as a Band 7 Emergency theatre facilitator. We are seeking a professional with sufficient and/or extensive experience at band 6 level within Scrub role in Emergency & trauma within an acute hospital setting to lead the team in Adult Theatres.
The successful candidate will lead and support a team of theatre scrub professionals, ensuring high standards of patient care are delivered to those admitted via the emergency and trauma pathways. A key responsibility will be providing clinical supervision, facilitate the emergency list and developing team members to ensure they possess the skills and attributes required to support the trauma service in a safe environment at The Royal London Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of the team within the theatre department, including Budget awareness and management, Governance, Implant and instrument stock management, Health Rota management, procurement and people management skills to fulfil quality and safety objectives. Service development within their speciality including Theatre utilisation, Session planning process, Bed management while coordinating, Audits.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to deliver a safe and efficient trauma and orthopaedic service. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and independently as needed, to provide an excellent peri-operative experience for patients.
As the Royal London Hospital Theatre Band 7 Senior Team Lead, you will support the multidisciplinary team in delivering high standards of patient care through unified and inspirational leadership. You will be a role model, providing professional guidance within your clinical area and inspiring those you lead.
