Join our dynamic logistics team where you will play a pivotal role in managing goods, both incoming and outgoing, in our bustling warehouse. On the service delivery front, you'll be responsible for preparing customer orders. Your key tasks include overseeing stock movement with precision, guaranteeing ample stock levels to ensure on-time, complete deliveries to our valued customers. Your contribution ensures our operations run seamlessly and our customers stay satisfied.
What you’ll be doing
* Ensure that all incoming and outgoing products are in the correct quantity, quality & part number whilst ensuring all paperwork is checked and completed.
* Continuously manage the inventory, track movements of products in/out of the warehouse.
* Confirm all products in the warehouse are stored safely and in the correct stock locations.
* General housekeeping and storage control as defined by the warehouse 5s requirements
* Focus on excellent Health and Safety processes including manual handling and the use of equipment.
* Participation in any investigations relating to stock queries, delivery, or shipment discrepancies.
* Safely and efficiently load/unload vehicles using the appropriate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE)
* Perform some administrative tasks and any other reasonable duties as requested by management
* Working as part of a small close-knit team to ensure all orders have been completed to the highest standards
What experience we think you’ll need
* Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and order.
* Experience working in fast-paced environments.
* Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Effective communication abilities.
* Self-motivated with excellent prioritisation skills.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines with keen attention to detail.
* Customer-focused mindset.
* Previous Warehousing and Logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
* Some heavy lifting may be required due to the job nature.
* Forklift training or certificate, while advantageous, is not necessary; training will be provided if needed.
