Job Title: Plasma Cutter
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk
Salary: £15ph (Negotiable)
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Contract: Temp-Perm
We are looking for a skilled metal worker to come and run the plasma cutter for an engineering firm in Haverhill, Suffolk.
Starting rate of £15ph+ (negotiable) with overtime available, all at time & half!
The company had a full order book for the foreseeable & need an experienced machinist to join them, ideally with plasma cutting experience.
Training can be provided if you have some form of engineering background, or other machining experience.
Plasma Cutter duties: -
Running the plasma cutter
Loading & unloading of material
Assisting the fabrication team as & when required
Reading & working from CAD drawings
Familiar with various fabrication machinery, i.e., saws, drills etc.
Competent in the use of various hand & power tools
Ideally successful applicant will have come from an engineering apprenticeship / relevant qualification or will have practical experience working as a machine operator.
Working hours 07:30-16:30, Monday-Thursday with an earlier finish on a Friday.
This is a permanent, full-time role subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
