Overview
Occupational Therapist required at Hemlock Stone School, Nottinghamshire NG9. Full-time role (37.5 hours per week), permanent contract (term time only or flexible around full-time contract discussed). Salary up to £53,200 FTE DOE plus a £3,000 Welcome Bonus. Role
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house clinical team. You will: provide bespoke OT assessments and interventions to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs; work within the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working; hold an OT caseload with support from your designated clinical supervisor and site lead; contribute to staff training and consultation as required; and support pupils to develop independence within an education setting.
You will work collaboratively with the education team and uphold a person-centred, safeguarding-focused approach. The role includes opportunities to participate in research projects, special interest groups, and the wider occupational therapy network across the group.
Essential Criteria
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
* Valid and up-to-date HCPC Registration
* Registered member of RCOT
* Experience providing occupational therapy services in a similar setting (preferred)
* Experience with neurodivergent individuals and/or learning difficulties and/or socio-emotional and mental health needs, with transferable skills
* Sound knowledge of OT theory and practical application to support independence
* Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty (preferred)
* Ability to work independently, be flexible and confident
* Clear and concise report writing skills
* Sensory Integration trained or opportunity to receive training as part of the CPD allowance (desirable)
