We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and personable Pastoral Lead‌‌‌‌ to join our team at Priestnall School. As a ‌Pastoral Lead‌‌‌‌, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Year with the management of the Year Groups including pastoral support, achievement, attendance, attainment/progress, behavioural issues, intervention and child protection matters.

This position is contracted on a 37 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 37 out of 52 weeks.

Job Purpose

1. Organise and manage Team Around the School across Year Groups
2. Co-ordinate triage meetings and communicate between pastoral, SEND and Support Networks in school.

Key Skills & Experience

3. Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
4. Recent management experience with people
5. Relevant experience of working with supporting agencies such as HYMs, EWS, Children’s Services etc.
