Full-Time | Permanent Pay: £13.75 – £14.75 per hour Sleep-in: £75 per sleep Shift Pattern: 2 on, 4 off About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to support children and young people in a residential/supported living setting. This role involves leading a team of Support Workers while ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for young people, including those with emotional and behavioural needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Support Worker looking to step up or an existing Team Leader seeking a new challenge. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and motivate a team of Support Workers Deliver and review personalised care plans Act as a key worker, building positive relationships with young people Support daily routines, activities, and development opportunities Manage safeguarding, incidents, and ensure compliance with regulations Maintain accurate records and effective communication Support staff development through supervision and coaching Requirements Experience working with children/young people (essential) Previous leadership or senior experience (desirable) Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to manage challenging behaviours professionally Good understanding of safeguarding and compliance Willingness to work shifts, including sleep-ins Must be 21 Driving licence and access to a car (required) Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (preferred) No sponsorship available Benefits 31 days holiday (increasing with service) Employee Assistance Programme Ongoing training and career progression Sleep-in and overtime payments Referral bonus scheme Travel allowance/mileage (where applicable)
