Remote: creative strategist/meta paid ads specialist

Creative strategist

Offer description

No recruiters or agencies please.

Offered Salary: £30K - 40K

Fully remote.

4 day work week. Yes, you read that correctly. We only work 4 days a week.

Required Skills: Ecommerce Media buying + Creative strategy experience. You gotta have both. 2 years experience with paid media buying for e-commerce on Meta (bonus points if you also do Tiktok or Google), experience with creative strategy.

There must be experience with paid ads for ecommerce (not pharma, not b2b, not plumbers.... ecommerce. Nothing wrong with the other stuff, it's just that we just specialize in ecommerce).

Note: This position is not for people that want to be lazy and only work 4 days a week. It's for highly driven people that are productive and want to be "in the zone" for 4 days and then spend time with their family, rest, or do other creative stuff on the 5th day. Yes, we believe in work life balance. This is it in action.

Second Note: This it position is NOT a social media coordinator position. This is to do media buying/creative strategy for paid ads on IG, FB, Google, and TikTok.

What people say about working at Snappic:

"I enjoy the flexibility and the fact that our team is very open to dialogue about things that need improvement, personal needs, etc... essentially a supportive work environment."

- Kat C.

"I really appreciate how much Snappic values the team in both encouragement and in actions. I feel like it’s extremely rare for an ad agency to value their team above toxic clients and it’s very refreshing.

I love that Snappic is open to ideas and want us to experiment with ads strategies so that we’re always learning and growing to serve our clients better.

I also really appreciated that the training process for how to analyze accounts in the Snappic way was very clear and streamlined."

- Ellen C.

Cool stuff about the job:

* The position is fully remote;
* Paid vacation time; and
* Flexible work hours. We value work-life balance.
* No burn out. We do vibe checks. If we sense burn out, we make sure you get the rest you need. Yes we work hard, no we don't burn out.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be learning and helping ecommerce brands "get to the next level" with creative strategy and media buying on Instagram and Facebook ads. If they are making 10-20K/mo, you'll be helping them get to 40-50K/mo. If they are at 50K/mo, you'll help them get to 100K/mo, etc.

You'll be doing that by helping them set up creative strategies and testing on Facebook and Instagram ads and optimizing them once they start spending.

You should be comfortable with developing creative briefs, knowing what creatives belong to which part of the customer journey, and actually getting the creatives produced.

You'll also answer both their technical questions and be a bit of a "ad therapist" during their growth journey.

This means that you'll explain the ins and outs of our platform and ads. You'll also help them through the more "emotional" parts that come when brands start to scale with ads. Answering questions like, "Why am I spending more money, but my ROI is falling?" (short answer: don't worry about it bc you are probably making more money overall) or keeping them calm when they think their ads aren't doing well but they just need to give things more time (sometimes ads are like people and they need some space to fully blossom).

The ideal candidate for this position:

* You are constantly keeping up with the latest and greatest creative and ads strategies.
* If I ask you what are some of your favorite creatives for a particular vertical, you should be able to tell me and describe them to me.
* You are OK with change. We will teach you stuff, you will learn how to do stuff, then things will probably change and you will need to change with it. You gotta be chill with that. If that bugs you out, or it's hard to deal with, that's OK, this just probably won't be the best place for you.
* You have extreme ownership. You make things happen, even if it is hard and there are obstacles that come up. This isn't on some David Googins tip. This is on some, let's get it done and be proud of what we do tip.
* You are a self starter and love taking initiative. If there isn’t anyone around to ask how to do something, you are comfortable Googling the sh*t out of it and figuring it out. Hustlers. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. We are growing very fast. We have a training system but we won't be around for every question so you need to be able to figure things out. If I leave you alone and you turn into a puddle because you don't know what to do, please don't apply.
* You are a high energy individual. We like what we do and we love being around people that feel the same way. If you are bleh and always having a case of the "mondaysss" then this probably isn't a good place for you. Good vibes only here.
* You love winning. Our job is literally to take people’s eCommerce store to “the next level.” If that floats your boat, then come and take a ride on ours.
* You love talking to people and being super nice to them. There are going to be lots of little questions and customers that have no idea what is going on. You gotta be able to smile and help them through it to make sure they succeed.
* You are cool getting down and dirty. We maintain good work/life balance here. But when the going get’s tough. That’s when we get going. We don't do many late nights or working weekends. But when we do, I expect you to show up be ready to go.
* You love working with other people and bouncing ideas.
* You are super organized. Sometimes there are a million things going on. You gotta be able to slow it down, organize your tasks, and knock them off one by one. Like a silent task killer.
* You are comfortable using a CRM as well as other software that can help manage customers and processes. Yes, you have to write stuff down. Why? So that you can go on vacation and we can still know what is going on with the customers that you were working with.
* You love eCommerce and ads.

Who this is NOT for:

* People new to ads. If you have trouble navigating around the Business Manager or this is new to you (1 year or less), that's cool and I think you are cool too. I think you'll be a better fit for another position though.
* Someone who is only motivated by a manager instructing him or her on what to do. If you are always waiting around for someone to tell you what to do, you won’t last long here.
* Someone who does not value documentation and process when it comes to ad optimization and reporting. We are a team. Everyone takes time off and keeping notes in the CRM and documenting processes is key to doing that.
* If you are hyper obsessed with running small A/B tests, don’t apply here. We don’t care if changing the background color on an image will increase ROI by 0.5%. We are looking for big substantive changes that will create big substantive results. Yes we run A/B tests— but on big stuff. We don’t sweat the small stuff.
* If you are already set in your ways about how to run ads. We have a “keep it simple but effective” approach to ads. You gotta be open to learning our approach first before trying to introduce other approaches.

Who we are:

We are a small team of passionate people working together on helping small to medium sized eCommerce brands grow and succeed with paid ads on Instagram, Facebook, Google, and Tiktok.

We’ve created a powerful platform that applies successful strategies and funnels that big brands use, and make them accessible to smaller stores in the easiest way possible. We regularly achieve the same if not better results than most full service agencies through our platform. That's a very big deal.

Over the last 7 years we’ve generated over $230M (I think a lot more but this is the last number I had the engineers pull) in revenue for small business owners while being featured in official Facebook + Instagram Case Studies and becoming official Facebook Marketing partners. We love what we do and love seeing the brands we help grow. Some of our most recent success stories include:

* Sweet Baton Rouge: 14K/mo to 60K/mo in 6 months
* Aratta: 60K/mo to 117K/mo in 3 months
* Abacus Sportswear: 9K/mo to 55K/mo in 4 months
* Brixton Phoenix: 60K/mo to 292K/mo
* Nick Kuchar: 2.3K increase on a 6-figure number
* Retique: 3X increase on a 6-figure number

3 month expectations:

* Become familiar with existing Snappic’s platform and workflow. We have a “Snappic” way of doing things, you gotta be able to learn and apply that first before you start trying to make changes to it.
* Consistently review 4-6 accounts a day.
* Getting on calls with an average of 25 customers a week and walk them through their reviews and answer their questions.
* Confidently answering emails from our customers.
* Reach out to customers to upgrade their plans or do case studies.
* Troubleshoot technical issues such as investigating pixel or catalog issues.
* Give feedback and suggestions on new features based on customer feedback.

12 month expectations:

* Contribute to new optimizations and features.
* Coordinate with engineers on implementing new features.
