I am Disabled Adult with Muscular Dystrophy funded through an NHS Personal Health Budget. I live in my own home with my disabled Mother and two dogs.

Week 1 - Thursday and Friday. (24 hours total)

Week 2 - Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (48 hours total)

Each shift is 12 hours long, 8am-8pm, on a rolling 2 week rota.

I am willing to be slightly flexible with times, please enquire, but shifts must be 12 hours long.

About me:

I have an interest in photography and like getting out to take photographs, I also like to take long walks in the countryside. I have a degree in Applied Physics and like science, technology and computing. I help various charities and I also spend a lot of time on my computer, especially during the colder months. I also like to go on long trips in my wheelchair adapted vehicle. I have three small dogs.

After poor experiences with care agencies I am looking to continue building a team that is reliable, flexible, understanding and can adapt to my specific needs.

I am looking for a trusted team off staff to allow me more freedom and independence. Recently I have not been able to pursue all of my hobbies and interests due to poor care situations/providers. I want to get my life back to being a more fulfilling and enjoyable one, along with setting myself new goals and challenges.

The person I am looking for:

You would need to work well with other team members.

I need someone who can be slightly flexible, as sometimes I attend events/appointments and the hours needed may be adjusted to facilitate this. I will also need you to cover other shifts on occasion, for staff holidays and/or illness.

I am looking for people to help me lead the life I want and to feel safe while doing this. You would be helping me achieve this by supporting me with various things I can't physically do without help.

Non-smokers required due to my respiratory issues. No smoking or vaping on duty.

The second interview will involve you driving my vehicle with one of my current staff assessing, helping and giving feedback.
