Overview
Our client requires a Contracts Manager on a permanent basis at their offices in Wembley. They are an established construction and maintenance provider to the social housing and education sectors.
Responsibilities
* Effective and efficient operational management and delivery of contracts whilst maintaining high levels of customer and client satisfaction and health & safety standards.
* Professional line management of all the Contract Managers' operational direct reports ensuring high levels of staff competencies and training are to be maintained and aligned with consistent engagement with supply chains to deliver operational excellence.
* Work in partnership with clients to ensure that operational expectations are met, building positive working relationships with client representatives.
* Monitor the overall performance of the contract ensuring the contract KPI’s are achieved.
* Review project cashflow and ensure commercial performance and profit targets are achieved and maintained.
* Continual monitoring of the progress of contracts to ensure works are completed on time, to a high‑quality standard and to agreed specifications.
* Hold regular monthly performance reviews with supply chains to manage relationships and drive improvements where required.
* Implement high levels of health and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Over 5 years Contract management experience within the Social Housing sector, delivering operational planned and reactive repairs & maintenance projects.
* BSc in Construction Management.
* IOSH and SMSTS certifications.
* Strength of character to respectfully enforce Corporate Policies/Procedures.
Working Hours & Compensation
Hours are 8 am – 5 pm. Salary to be in the region of £65k – £75k for this permanent position.
