Teacher of Psychology
St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy
Required for September 2024
The Academy Governors wish to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic teacher of A Level Psychology. Teaching predominantly in our Academy’s sixth form, the successful candidate will be required to deliver and to build on the subject’s current popularity with our Post 16 students. We are very ambitious for our students and exceptionally committed to providing a thriving curriculum that allows our students to take their next step in to Higher Education and employment.
This is therefore a superb opportunity for an existing or recently qualified Psychology specialist. Applications from ECTs are also welcome. The opportunity exists to teach in other areas of the sixth form/whole school depending on the successful candidate’s background and experience.
Applications for part-time may be considered.
You would be working with an existing staff body who are highly supportive, friendly and dedicated to developing our students to become the very best versions of themselves that they can be. A highly structured CPD programme is on offer, together with bespoke support dependent on the needs of the successful candidate.
St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy is a very popular, oversubscribed and thriving school serving the Catholic community of the North of Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire.
