Position: Learning & Development Lead (fixed term contract _24 months)


We are seeking a passionate Learning & Development Lead to develop a learning strategy that will enable adoption of a global change programme at scale. As an L&D Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating well considered training plans for each of the initiatives within the programme curriculum of projects. Strong communication skills are essential in effectively guiding the programme team and our Firms through the learning journey. Using the systematic learning cycle as the key methodology to inform and consult the learning initiatives into the organisation.



Key accountabilities


* Develops and executes a programme wide learning strategy
* Designs and builds the individual delivery training programmes curriculum
* Creates a training delivery plan for knowledge, skills, habits and efficacy needs for changes being implemented on the programme
* Based on change initiatives and audience requirements assesses development needs, and tracks learning effectiveness
* Consults the central budgets and relationships with vendors, consultants and internal subject matter experts to execute learning delivery
* Evaluate individual and organisational development needs
* Implement and design various learning methods (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
* Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings



Qualifications and Experience


Education and Experience

* Proven work experience as a Learning & Development Lead or similar role
* Understanding and experience with learning principles, methodologies, and tools- systematic learning cycle
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
* Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
* Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
* Experience of working on a global team (desirable)
* An accreditation in a training/learning qualification (CIPD) (desirable)

* Strong analytical skills to assess and understand the impact of changes within an organisation, and to develop effective strategies and solutions.
* Excellent communication skills to convey learning strategies to stakeholders and to facilitate open and effective discussions
* Problem-solving skills to address potential resistance or issues that arise during the learning implementation and design process and to find effective solutions.
* Project management skills to oversee the implementation of learning, ensuring initiatives are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
* Leadership skills to inspire and influence others to drive towards the vision and goals of the learning approach.
* Interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
* Ability to navigate uncertainty, providing a steady presence and positive outlook
* Consulting & partnering approach and style to create strong working relationships that drive and champion the learning effort
