CG are working with a leading Bermudian Reinsurer who are looking for a qualified actuary to join their Valuations team. This dynamic and proactive individual will play a key role within the valuation and reporting team. Responsibilities include actuarial reporting for US GAAP and EBS, providing leadership and direction, and liaising with senior stakeholders.
Profile
* Qualified Actuary from a recognised institution
* 8+ years’ experience working in life / annuity re(insurance)
* Experience with reinsurance, M&A and valuation is highly desirable
* Familiarity with US STAT / Bermuda Solvency Regime or similar (Solvency II, CALM etc)
* Strong modelling skills in AXIS or MG-ALFA would be beneficial
* Self-motivated with an enthusiastic approach to working under own initiatives
* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple workloads and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
