Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit excellent Food Technician interested in securing a role. Please see below for further details:
Food Technician
* Location - Southport, PR8
* Type of work - Part Time (3-4 days per week)
* Start date - April 2026
* Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with lessons: Helping sort materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during lessons.
* Behaviour management: Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management.
* Practical work: would involve assisting the food technology teacher with cleaning/preparing for the lesson, including assisting during practical's.
* Monitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students' overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
* Safeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required
Requirements:
* Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
* Previous experience working with young people.
To be eligible:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide two professional references/cover 24 months work with references
