Role Description
This is a volunteer hybrid role for a Violence Prevention Educator, primarily based in Forfar with some flexibility for remote work. The role involves delivering educational workshops and training sessions to young people and communities, focusing on violence prevention and awareness. Responsibilities include delivering our evidence based violence prevention Programme to schools and nurseries, engagement in meetings and focus groups to evaluate and develop the service, and using creative and digital skills to help us with social media setup and campaigns.
Qualifications
* Confidence in delivering sessions to groups
* Empathy and non-judgement towards individuals who have experienced distressing situations or life circumstances
* Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences effectively.
* Passion for violence prevention and improving the lives of your local community
* Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when working remotely.
