A rare and exciting opportunity has emerged for a proactive Tool Room Supervisor to run an in-house tooling facility for a leading injection-moulding manufacturer.
What Youll Do
* Lead and manage a small team of skilled technicians and toolmakers, overseeing tool-related maintenance, turnaround schedules, and KPI targets across the production site.
* Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for tooling, manufacturing, and engineering challenges.
* Coach, develop, and mentor your teamhandling aspects like absences, training plans, and overtime coordination.
What Youll Bring
* A minimum of 5 years experience as a toolmaker within a plastic manufacturing or injection-moulding environment.
* Completion of an apprenticeship in toolmakingindustry-qualified and ready to support tooling operations with confidence.
* Demonstrable success in leading or supervising small teamsready to step into or continue a managerial role.
* A self-driven, adaptable attitude with excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-focused skills.
