The Opportunity
Our client, a well‑established organisation with a busy Payroll Department, is seeking a Payroll Analyst / Analyst to join their team on a temporary 3‑month basis. This is an excellent opportunity for payroll professionals or analytically minded individuals with experience inpliance, finance, or data analysis. You’ll be joining a supportive environment where accuracy, problem‑solving, and collaboration are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
1. Review payroll data and transactions to identify errors, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
2. Resolveplex pay queries, enquiries, issues, andplaints, escalating where appropriate.
3. Support the management of payroll credit transfers and emergency CHAPS payments.
4. Ensure statutory deductions are correctly applied and accounted for.
5. Produce and dispatch statutory returns, including those for taxable benefits, within deadlines.
Candidate Profile
We are keen to hear from candidates who bring:
6. Payroll experience or strong analyticalpliance/data‑handling skills.
7. Excellent problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
8. Strongmunication skills to manage sensitive queries effectively.
9. The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Working Pattern
10. 2 days per week in the Bradford office (Tuesday & Thursday).
11. Remaining days home‑based, offering flexibility and balance.
