About the Role

This role will support many of our sites remotely while predominantly based at Telford.
Job Opportunity
On a typical day, here’s what you’ll be involved in:
* Developing and issuing daily and weekly production plans aligned to demand and capacity.
* Monitoring and adjusting production schedules in response to machine breakdowns, labour constraints, material shortages, or changes in customer demand.
* Balancing site capacity utilisation, changeover duration, and order priorities to optimise efficiency, and minimise downtime and waste.
* Liaising with site Production/Manufacturing Managers remotely to confirm feasibility of planned schedules.
* Reviewing forecasts and sales orders to ensure accurate production requirements are planned.
* Maintaining optimal stock levels of finished goods to effectively manage available space and minimise shortages.
* Monitoring slow moving and excess inventory and work with stakeholders to reduce obsolescence.
* Ensuring production aligns to agreed loading schedules and transport capacity.
* Raising and managing material orders to ensure availability.
