Sue Ryder St John's Hospice in Moggerhanger, Bedfordshire, provides CQC Outstanding expert care for life-limiting conditions. We assist with pain and symptom management, emotional and practical support.
About you
* Excellent IT and audio typing skills
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Effective verbal and written communication
* Excellent telephone manner and listening skills
About the role
This varied and exciting role supports our team at Sue Ryder, St John’s Hospice. You will be friendly, approachable, and comfortable in a busy environment, supporting our consultants and clinical team.
* Maintain and circulate consultant and doctor on-call rotas, action rota changes on PeopleHub under supervision
* Prepare and control documentation for junior doctor rotations and medical student placements
* Type patient assessment pathways, summaries, correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, leaflets, and presentations from recordings and documents
* Maintain diaries, book meeting/training rooms, and arrange travel for doctors and consultants
* Respond to enquiries from patients, carers, and professionals; coordinate meetings and take minutes
