We have an excellent opportunity for a temp-to-perm Class 2 Driver to join a well-established company specialising in the delivery of paper goods. This role is ideal for newly qualified drivers or experienced HGV drivers seeking a positive change in their current role. About this Class 2 position:
12 week temp to perm
Monday to Friday
Start time between 5:00am- 6:00am (8- 10-hour shifts)
Up to 18 drops
Delivering paper goods to printing companies in the south coast area
Driving a class 2 vehicle in which you will be required to operate a tail lift and use ratchet straps to secure loads
Use pump truck to move palletised goods (some handballing involved)What we require from you:
Full UK Class 2 licence with valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
Previous multidrop experience is beneficial for this position
Happy with manual handling and heavy lifting
Previous experience driving a Class 2 vehicle preferred, however newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply
Flexible and willing to work overtime if required
Fantastic customer service and communication skills
