Social Worker - Multi-Agency Rough Sleepers' team (MARS), Ellesmere Port
This position is for a Grade Approved Mental Health Professional, with applications also welcomed from Progressed Social Workers (non-AMHP/Grade).
This is a full-time temporary specialist post funded until March, seconded from Adult Social Care to work exclusively with rough sleepers with mental health issues. The referral process is broad, allowing self-referrals through drop-in sessions, which distinguishes this service.

Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting adults with care and support needs to achieve their outcomes
* Connecting individuals to appropriate services and community assets
* Engaging with complex and vulnerable clients to build trust
* Conducting mental health and Care Act assessments
* Developing and implementing support plans
* Collaborating with mental health and rough sleeping services
Requirements include:
* AMHP qualification (postgraduate certificate or master's level)
* Experience managing high-risk, complex cases and safeguarding adults
* Knowledge of mental health legislation
* Ability to work autonomously and effectively communicate
* Enhanced DBS check and Adults Barred List clearance
