About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Casual Retail Assistant is essential in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will contribute to achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.
Main duties include:
1. Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximising sales where possible.
2. Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
3. Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone queries and dealing with electronic inquiries as needed.
4. Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
5. Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
6. Contribute to a positive team environment and work on personal sales benchmarks.
7. Utilize the e-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
8. Keep customer-facing areas of the branch clean and tidy.
9. Develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their garage needs.
10. Promote a professional image of the company, representing our values and maintaining a professional appearance.
11. Work towards achieving relevant KPIs.
Working hours: Casual basis to cover sickness and annual leave, including weekend work.
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
1. Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
2. Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Positive approach to customer queries, seeking resolutions proactively.
5. Confident in IT and computer systems.
6. Ability to work well with others.
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
9. Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
