Partner Account Manager - IT Managed Services
£45K base plus uncapped OTE of £72K, plus a car or £450 per month car allowance, along with a host of benefits.
The Role
The Partner Account Manager will promote IT Managed Services to a UK IT Reseller. You will work closely with their sales team to encourage and evaluate how IT Managed Services can be sold to their end customers.
You will be introduced to customers through warm leads and participate in qualifying IT requirements, proposing tailored IT Managed Services accordingly. This can be achieved mainly through two methods:
1. "Selling with" the IT Reseller, joining them on meetings where they introduce you as a Managed Services Sales specialist.
2. "Selling through" the IT Reseller, independently engaging with end-user clients.
Responsibilities
* Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and their sales teams to understand end customer requirements.
* Service Presentation: Present and demonstrate managed services solutions, emphasizing benefits and ROI.
* Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals and quotations outlining services and pricing.
* Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close sales contracts.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet targets.
* Collaboration: Work with technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Experience: Proven success in IT Managed Services Sales, ideally with an MSP or IT Reseller, selling directly to end users.
* Knowledge: Good understanding of IT Managed Services, Cyber Security, software licensing, and managed networks.
* Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.
