A career opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Social Care Worker at Seaforth House Care Home in Golspie.

Responsibilities include leading the shift, administering medication, supporting and guiding other care staff to meet residents’ needs. The post holder should have knowledge and experience of Support Planning and the reviewing process, and Risk Assessing in relation to older people.

The post holder will adopt a person‑centred approach to deliver a high standard of flexible and responsive care to service users within the care home and will provide support and assistance to enable them to remain as independent as possible, promoting their own abilities, independence and skills.

Previous experience in a social care setting is essential. Ideally you will hold an SVQ 3 in Social Care, or at a minimum an SVQ 2 with a willingness to achieve an SVQ 3 to enable registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for Adults.

This is a permanent part‑time post of 29.5 hours, working as per service requirements.
