We are seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Managers to join our IT Transformation Team at Look Ahead. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of various projects including Finance systems and case management systems. You will work closely with the Head of IT Programme and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level professional looking to grow their career in project management.
Working hours are 9am - 5pm. This is a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
What You'll Do
1. Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
2. Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project tasks are completed as scheduled.
3. Track project progress and prepare status reports for senior management.
4. Assist in managing resources to ensure projects remain within scope and financial constraints.
5. Schedule and participate in project meetings, taking detailed notes and ensuring follow-up on action items.
6. Support risk management efforts by identifying potential issues and helping to implement solutions.
7. Maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and correspondence.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of project management processes and best practices.
9. Assist in budget management and reporting.
10. Help ensure quality control measures are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
1. Project management qualification or relevant experience e.g. Prince 2, Agile etc.
2. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
3. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana, or MS Project).
8. A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on detail and efficiency.
Desirable Skills
1. Eagerness to learn and grow in the project management field.
2. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
4. Previous work experience in project management.
