Job Description
The Accounts Payable & Treasury Assistant role is initially a temporary Assignment for 3- 6 months and will be Hybrid working-3 days a week in Manchester City Centre office/2 remote.Reporting to the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:
3. Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies effectively.
5. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
6. Support the preparation of payment runs and monitor outstanding payments.
7. Assist with month-end closing activities for the finance team.
8. Handle queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders professionally.
9. Ensure the accuracy of financial data and support audit requirements.
10. Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance department as needed.
The Successful Applicant
In order to apply for the role you should:
11. Have previous experience in end to end Accounts Payable and Bank reconciliation
12. Be able to commute to Manchester City Centre 3 days per week
13. Be able to consider a temporary role initially
