SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Recruitment Division is currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Bradford, for a Press Brake Operator- Permeant Position Skills Required * Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Press brake DNC experience is desired * Strong knowledge of press brake operations and techniques * Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges - Skilled in fabricating metal parts according to specifications * Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in metalworking * Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work - Ability to work independently or as part of a team Duties * Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications * Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and tooling requirements * Select appropriate tooling and install it onto the machine * Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards * Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results * Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions * Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, such as cleaning and lubricating parts - Assemble fabricated metal parts using hand tools and other equipment - Operate overhead cranes or hoists to move heavy materials or equipment Benefits: * Free onsite parking * Overtime paid after 39 hours * 28 days holiday this includes statutory bank holidays * In addition you will also receive X5 extra days holiday over the Christmas shutdown so you don’t need to save days from your holiday year Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour Overtime is paid after 39 hours have been worked Hours of work 39 per week: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 3:30pm Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm This position is being advertised on behalf of SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Recruitment Division who operate as an employment business.
