About the role
BAM Site Solutions is recruiting a Customer Service Coordinator based in Kilsyth. The role involves providing outstanding service through the Site Solutions Hub, processing hire and sales transactions, and assisting with customer queries.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare customer quotations and orders accurately to ensure a top-tier customer experience.
2. Provide excellent service to customers and clients, responding promptly to inquiries.
3. Process transactions efficiently, keeping customers updated on progress.
4. Develop strong relationships with existing customers to support their needs.
5. Monitor web channels for hire and sales activity to ensure timely order processing.
6. Support customer inquiries via email and telephone, ensuring quick resolutions.
7. Gain comprehensive knowledge of our product range through ongoing training.
8. Assist in cross-hiring and purchasing from our supplier database to meet customer requirements.
9. Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager and Team Leader to enhance the customer experience.
10. Contribute to various projects and administrative tasks supporting the Customer Service team.
11. Maintain accurate records and electronic filing systems.
12. Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve customer queries.
13. Keep customer systems updated and track order and query progress.
14. Promote a culture of compliance with UK & Ireland policies, safety, health, wellbeing, and sustainability standards.
15. Support product innovation and expertise within depots in collaboration with Product Managers.
16. Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
17. Process daily transactions, resolve client issues, and nurture positive relationships.
18. Ensure timely communication and response to customer queries.
19. Update customer systems to facilitate efficient order and query management.
20. Implement improvements to enhance client service delivery.
Candidate profile
We seek a diligent, motivated, and detail-oriented individual with:
* GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
* Industry experience (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
