Job Description:
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
The position involves planning, organizing, prioritizing, and maintaining daily administrative tasks at the BWOSCC, Macmillan Day Unit. The role includes acting as a focal point for patients, updating demographic information, handling telephone inquiries, ensuring data accuracy, admitting and discharging patients daily, and managing the general operation of the Day Unit.
The shift pattern is Wednesday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please note, the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
