We have an exciting opportunity for an Equine Diagnostic Imaging Technician to complement our busy Equine Diagnostic Imaging team. The applicant will be integral to our dynamic team of vets, technicians and students. This post would suit a friendly team player who is hardworking, caring, and enthusiastic with an interest in diagnostic imaging and a willingness to learn a new skill set to help to acquire high standard diagnostic images.
It is essential that the candidate has exceptional horse handling skills, has worked in a commercial equine environment and also has an excellent understanding of Equine behaviour, anatomy and physiology. Diagnostic imaging experience is desirable, but it is not essential as full specialist training and support will be provided.
The role will involve acquiring diagnostic imaging with our advanced equipment and assist with maintaining all diagnostic archiving systems.
Normal working hours will be 14 per week, Monday and Friday (7hrs per day).
