Dowds are seeking a Construction Site Manager to join our Construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead medium-large scale projects across the UK and ROI, ensuring safe, high-quality and efficient delivery across all stages of construction. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors and direct labour, and ensure that all works are completed to programme, to specification and to the highest standards of health, safety and quality. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring time, cost and quality targets are achieved. Manage unforeseen delays and implement solutions promptly. Monitor progress against the Master Programme and develop stage/section programmes. Plan and organise site logistics, ensuring equipment is safe and operated by trained staff. Ensure all workmanship and materials meet specifications, regulations and quality standards. Leadership & Collaboration Lead, motivate and supervise the site team and all subcontractors. Carry out toolbox talks and site briefings. Chair weekly review meetings with site teams and subcontractors. Liaise closely with Construction Managers and Quantity Surveyors on cost control, waste management and instructions. Compliance, Safety & Quality Assurance Carry out safety inspections and fulfil health, safety and welfare responsibilities in line with company policy and OHSAS 18001. Control and monitor site waste in accordance with the Site Waste Minimisation & Management Policy. Maintain quality and environmental procedures in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Ensure all site teams follow consistent operational standards. Documentation, Reporting & Communication Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation. Manage labour and subcontractor resourcing in line with approved supplier lists. Support training, development and mentoring activities within the team. Person Specification We're seeking a professional, organised and proactive Site Manager with strong leadership and communication skills.
