We are currently seeking a dedicated and accomplished Senior Sommelier to join our esteemed wine team. As a Senior Sommelier, you will play a pivotal role in curating our extensive wine list, providing expert guidance to guests, and contributing to the overall excellence of our dining experience. If you have a passion for wine, a wealth of knowledge in oenology, and a proven track record of elevating the dining experience, we invite you to be a key influencer at our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert recommendations to guests, suggesting wine pairings that enhance their dining experience.
2. Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute wine-focused events and promotions.
3. Manage wine inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage conditions.
4. Stay informed about industry trends, new releases, and emerging winemakers.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Senior Sommelier or in a similar leadership role within a high-end restaurant.
2. Extensive knowledge of wines, regions, and varietals, supported by relevant certifications.
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Impeccable grooming and presentation.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage tasks.
6. Familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes.
