The Azure Fiber team in Romsey is seeking dynamic candidates with energy and a passion for innovation to join our team. You will be working with the Engineering group on the testing and qualification of optical fibre, cable and optical fibre components. In addition you will support the development of test systems and methods to support reliability testing of new products in development. As such, this role involves hands-on work in our state of the art Romsey facility five days a week.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Relevant technical engineering experienceOR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Other Requirements:

* Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
* Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Significant relevant technical engineering experienceOR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND signficant technical engineering experienceOR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

* Performing qualification testing of the optical fibre and cable products to demonstrate fitness for purpose and meet performance and quality requirements
* Ensuring that products are tested in accordance with documented procedures and to defined test specifications
* Maintaining accurate records and report results in a clear and logical way
* Ensuring that processes are adhered to as prescribed within the Company Quality Management System
* Ensuring all test equipment is correctly maintained and in calibration
* Visibly supporting the establishment and maintenance of a safe work environment
