About the role:
* Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Assist with the development and delivery of individual learning plans and strategies
* Support students in both academic and social settings, promoting independence and confidence
* Help students with their personal care needs as required
* Foster an inclusive classroom environment by supporting diverse learning styles
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
* Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team
* Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive, respectful atmosphere
* Support the use of specialized equipment and resources to aid students' learning
* Work closely with parents and outside agencies to ensure holistic support for students
